An exciting alternative
With its unique location, Kvarøy is ideally situated for courses and team building. Good boat connections to and from the major cities make Kvarøy an exciting alternative to the more traditional course and conference hotels.
With the Nordlandsekspressen express boat, you can travel efficiently to and from Bodø and Sandnessjøen. If you’re traveling by car from Mo i Rana, the nearest stop is Tonnes, and from here we can pick you up with our own shuttle boat. This makes the journey flexible.
Customize according to your needs
You can stay at Kvarøy Sjøhus and hold courses and meetings at Tampen Kafe in their new premises. In the mezzanine above the café, they have a modern meeting room with close proximity to the hosts and catering. They can offer meeting rooms for small and medium-sized groups with smartboard and video options so that you can also use Teams during the meetings. The meeting room can be customized with tables and chairs, and can be rented with or without catering.

Dining experiences
In collaboration with our local restaurant Olea’s Kjøkken, we can also offer full catering during your stay. Olea’s Kjøkken is located on Hauknesbrygga and offers a culinary dining experience. The restaurant has been renovated in an old style with quirks you won’t find in other restaurants. The food is based on local ingredients, tradition and taste.
Outdoor activities
For a break from work, we offer outdoor activities such as guided fishing with our Targa 44, for an exciting fishing trip together. We rent out fishing rods and flotation suits for a complete experience.
For a more active trip, we can recommend that we take you to Hestmona for a summit trip up to Hestmannen, or to play a round of frisbee golf at Selsøyvik on their course with 12 baskets.
On Kvarøy we have an Activity Hall with a golf and hunting simulator that can be booked on an hourly basis, in the same room you will find billiards and shuffleboard so that you can gather and try different activities together.
Or we can go out in the boat on a salmon tour to see salmon farming up close in collaboration with Kvarøy Fiskeoppdrett to learn more about how they produce their salmon.
For a little break in the day, we recommend going for a walk in the “field” on Kvarøy, we have several great hiking trails that can provide a break with fresh sea air that suits everyone.
We also have rental bikes, free diving equipment, and sup for those who want to enjoy more of the Helgeland archipelago. We’ll help you find the right program for you and your company. The activities are adapted to the group’s size, season and weather conditions.
