Sea view
All our sea houses are located on the north side of Kvarøy with beautiful sea views. From the cabins you can see the iconic Hestmannen mountain, the Arctic Circle and the orange sunsets of summer. The cabins are fully furnished and have all the equipment you need for a great stay.
With Kvarøy as your starting point, you’ll find nearby fishing spots with great diversity in species and fishing. All species have their heyday during the year. For cod it’s winter, for halibut it’s spring and fall, and for saithe it’s late summer. If you hire a boat, you can catch all species within a 30-minute boat trip.
Boat rental
We rent out 19-foot aluminum boats for trips in the local area. For those who want to swim on a deserted beach or even for adventures in Lurøy.
The boats have sonar and a chartplotter so you can find your way back and forth. Life jackets are included with the boat, so you don’t need to bring your own if you’re big or small. We’ll go through the boat and equipment together when we hand over the boat so that you feel safe on the trip.
There is also emergency equipment in the boat such as a fire extinguisher, flares, drift anchor and simple first aid equipment.

Guided fishing trip
Take a full day of fishing with your buddies and join a fishing trip with our local skipper. He’ll plan the trip according to the weather and your fishing goals.
The trip lasts 4-5 hours and often goes out into the open sea to reach the really big fish. Recommended to get to know the area and to see the beautiful nature around Kvarøy.
In order to complete the trip, there must be 6 people signed up for the trip.

Fishing equipment
In collaboration with Seeberg, we sell sea fishing rods and what you need at the end of the line. In our shop we have a selection that is well suited to the fishing area, and adapted to the different species. Here you can buy all the equipment you need for fishing during your stay on Kvarøy.
We also rent out fishing rods for deep-sea fishing for SEK 150 per day if you want to rent a rod and just bring your own hooks.
If you need warm clothing for fishing, we have two-piece fishing suits for hire. These suit most people and keep you warm all day.
